Evaluation Index Development for Intelligent Transportation System in Smart Community Based on Big Data

Abstract: A scientific evaluation index system for intelligent transportation system (ITS) can play an important role in guiding the development of ITS for decision makers in smart communities. This study aims to develop a set of performance indicators for the effective evaluation of the transportation system in a smart community in China. The main goals of the developed evaluation index are determined after a careful review of the various index systems implemented by various agencies worldwide. A set of indicators divi… Show more

“…Meanwhile, empirical progress has been made in the evaluation of community livability through building the evaluation indicator system [29]. An evaluation index system for transportation in smart communities has been designed to deal with the transportation problems that often occur in the smart community [30]. Furthermore, an indicator system was developed to evaluate the level of community governance from the perspective of participatory governance, and 33 secondary evaluation indicators were included in this system [31].…”

“…ITS is employed in the following scopes: 1-The management and monitoring the traffic, 2-Traffic optimization, 3-Driving autonomously, 4-Identifying the status of driver, 5-Identifying the mechanism of driver behavior and 6-Preventing and analyzing car accidents [12] and its primary goal is to employ appropriate technologies to generate more intelligent users, vehicles and roads [15]. To sum up, due to having some specific characteristics, such as 1-automated computation, 2-flexibility, 3-providing precise, accurate and up-to-date information and 4-owning asynchronous and distributed algorithms for control, coordination and resource management undoubtedly in the near future intelligent transportation systems will attain increasing importance [16].…”

“…In the CPDM structure, three modules were executed, appreciate the information crawler, highlight age, and machine learning module [25]. And in addition to registering the key highlights of the information [26], Ruimin Li et al [27], An evaluation of the significant transport-related files built up by a few offices was the primary extent of the examination. The investigation additionally enhanced a list framework [28] for transportation frameworks in smart networks focused on huge information.…”
