The research was aimed to develop a set of recommendations on maintaining public health within student community. For the practical achievement of the research goal, there were studied: students' self-perceived health status and their physical and moral reaction to COVID-19; their thoughts while onlooking relatives' reaction in the conditions of self-isolation, and students' opinion on new interaction with tutors in frame of online education. This part of the research was carried out from November, 2020 till May, 2021. Respondents were the students of South region of Ukraine, who study disciplines with some risk for public health system, namely, future seafarers and medical workers. In our work we drew on theoretical and practical conclusions made by the American, European and Ukrainian researchers of public health system and of cooperation between a teacher and a student in the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic. The theoretical aspect devoted to specification of such concepts as "public health", "public health within student community", is connected with the practical one, and allows to elaborate the unique research tooling and to reflect its components during a sociological poll with the help of questionnaire analysis. Application part of work is based on an empirical social research of transformations of students' feelings and opinions under the influence of pandemic, drawing on the analysis of moral difficulties that the students of higher educational institution faced in terms of sudden and drastic change to a remote format of learning being fully separated from an educational group. Recommendations and conclusions are made by the authors in order to safeguard public health within student community.

Some universities in Kenya have taken up e-learning to flexibly deliver learning and bridge the educational access gap. Despite the benefits that e-learning offers to the e-learners, there are challenges that they must cope with. The aim of this paper is to present the challenges that emerged from a research that was undertaken in two Institutions of Higher Learning (IHLs). It also presents the coping strategies that e-learners used to overcome the challenges. The research used the constructivist version of Grounded Theory (GT) methodology. It used in-depth interviews and participant observations to gather data from the e-learners, e-tutors, e-learning managers and e-learning platforms. Therefore, the research yielded qualitative data which was analyzed using Atlas.ti software. Data was analyzed thematically to establish the patterns of challenges and the equivalent coping strategies. The results are presented using the Gioia technique and the discussion used the vignettes technique from participants in order to preserve their voice. The challenges that emerged relate to: e-content, coursework, internet access, e-learning technology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills and training, interaction and collaboration, personal issues, teaching of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses and the tutorials. Recommendations on how to tackle these challenges have also been suggested. An understanding of these challenges is important to the e-learning players so that they can adopt interventions to mitigate them and hence improve interaction and collaboration. The results presented in this paper are part of the larger research whose main objective was to develop an e-learning theory for interaction and collaboration.

A pesar de que la ética no ocupa un lugar privilegiado en los estudios del ámbito de la tecnología educativa, su transversalidad nos debe llevar a considerar su importancia en tres grandes ámbitos: la ética como compromiso de acción y de investigación (que parte de la cada vez más expresa recomendación institucional de respeto hacia principios éticos sólidos y compartidos), la ética como regulación del investigador (que le exige el respeto de esos principios generales en el quehacer concreto del proceso de investigación) y la ética como objeto de estudio (que entiende que las diferentes respuestas éticas a las diversas situaciones tiene un interés intrínseco que merece ser estudiado). De todo ello se reflexiona en el presente artículo, a fin de dar pautas que ayuden a promover investigaciones sobre tecnología educativa seguras, éticas y responsables. ABSTRACTAlthough ethics does not occupy a privileged place in studies in our field of educational technology, its transversality should lead us to consider its importance in three main areas: ethics as commitment to action and research (which comes from an every time more clear institutional recommendation of respecting solid and shared ethical principles), ethics as researcher processes regulator (which requires respect for these general principles in the concrete work of the research process) and ethics as an issue of study (understanding that those different ethical responses to various situations have an intrinsic interest that deserves to be studied). We reflect on all these questions in this paper, in order to provide guidelines to promote safe, ethical and responsible research on educational technology. KEYWORDS INTRODUCCIÓNLa Declaración Nacional sobre Integridad Científica formulada recientemente por la COSCE (Confederación de Sociedades Científicas de España), la CRUE (Conferencia de Rectores de las Universidades Españolas) y el CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas) pone de manifiesto la necesidad que aún existe en nuestro país de que las instituciones dedicadas a la investigación asuman los principios éticos que deben regir la actividad científica, e impulsen e implementen sin titubeos políticas claras de integridad científica que se concreten en conductas responsables e íntegras de instituciones e investigadores.
