Show more

“…The subsinuous interventricular branch in boars was the continuation of the circumflex branch of the right coronary artery in 100% of the subjects, close to the results observed in swine, in 96.7% (VIEIRA et al, 2008) and in 100% of the samples (MOURA JUNIOR et al, 2008;BALLESTEROS, 2013). Nevertheless, in goats (MOURA JUNIOR et al, 2009) and in half-breed bovines (CORREIA-OLIVEIRA et al, 2013), this branch had its origin through the left circumflex branch.…”

“…The paraconal interventricular branch in boars ranged from the paraconal interventricular groove to the cardiac apex, just as recorded in swine (MOURA JUNIOR et al, 2008;BALLESTEROS, 2014) and goats (MOURA JUNIOR et al, 2009). The left branch to the conus arteriosus was the first branch emerging to the right of the paraconal interventricular branch for the right ventricle in all of the samples, just as described in swine (SAHNI et al, 2008) and in humans (LIMA JÚNIOR et al, 1993).…”

“…However, this variation was not found in the present study. The absence of signs of sexual dimorphism in coronary circulation was also reported by Moura Junior et al (2008) in pigs; Biasi et al, and Borelli in domestic cats;Biasi et al in domestic dogs;and Correia-Oliveira et al (2014a) in New Zealand rabbits.…”
