Eradication of Helicobacter pylori for the Prevention of Peptic Ulcer Rebleeding

Abstract: Peptic ulcer rebleeding does not occur in patients with complicated ulcers after H. pylori eradication. Maintenance anti-ulcer (antisecretory) therapy is not necessary if eradication is achieved.
