The overall purpose of this research is to be able to understand how engineering students believe they are developing EM throughout their higher education experiences. Is EM development attributed to the inclusion of EM based projects and activities within their engineering course work? Perhaps, EM development occurs more readily through engineering students’ participation in extracurricular or co-curricular activities? Alternatively, maybe EM development is not tied to the higher education ecosystem at all, and engineering students develop EM as a result of job or volunteer experiences. As such, this research study seeks to answer the following research questions: (1) Which types of experiences contribute to engineering students' EM development? And (2) What types of attributes of EM do engineering students perceive are developed through these experiences? The study involves a qualitative analysis of engineering student interviews to determine the experiences that have contributed to student EM development as well as EM traits that were specifically focused upon within these experiences. Through understanding engineering students’ perceptions of how they developed an EM, it will provide the necessary information to determine best practices for EM student development in the future.

The research was initiated on the statistically proven premises that, there is a relationship between entrepreneurship and economic growth of Pakistan. However, the contribution of entrepreneurial skills through entrepreneurial training in this regard was not investigated by any other scholar. Hence, this study has been conducted in order to understand relationship between entrepreneurial training and economic growth of Pakistan. The study was quantitative in nature and employed non-probabilistic sampling design in order to collect data from 128 university students of final year studying in different domains. The respondents were enrolled in four different universities of Sindh and Punjab provinces. However, it was concluded at the end through Pearson, Spearman and Regression analysis that, there is a significant but weak relationship between socio-emotional, technical skills of entrepreneurs and economic growth of the country. However, moderate kind of relationship was found between managerial skills of entrepreneurs and economic growth of Pakistan. Subsequently, it was asserted that, there is a significant moderate relationship between entrepreneurial training and economic growth of the country.

This study endeavours to evaluate and propose the mechanism to intensify and expedite entrepreneurial education and self-efficacy in Technical and Vocational formal education. Based on the qualitative research method, fourteen open-ended questions were developed for interviews targeting three types of respondents (students, teachers and TVET-A officials) for data collection. The results suggest that there is no specific entrepreneurial learning in TVET-AVI institutions, and on the organization level a clear comprehensive strategy for enhancing entrepreneurial education is not yet developed. Further findings revealed that students only received a technical education, mismatching the current labour market needs. To enhance entrepreneurial education, it has been observed that developing a new curriculum for entrepreneurial education, teacher training and teaching methodology and the role of TVET authority has a positive impact on enhancing entrepreneurial education. In addition to that, cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset in the local community is an important factor for student motivation and independence. This study proposes how TVET can realize the issue of integrating entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy in formal education. The curriculum and monitoring and evaluation directorates will utilize the study result to ensure the entrepreneurial education and self-efficacy included in the updated curriculum and for monitoring and evaluation procedures as well. Further research is required to identify the stakeholders’ involvement that could help the entrepreneurial education process.
