Enfermeiras Militares: Papéis Desempenhados de 1980 a 1997

Abstract

RESUMO: Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, com abordagem sócio-histórica, com objetivo de identificar os papéis desempenhados pelas enfermeiras do Corpo Auxiliar Feminino da Reserva da Marinha (CAFRM) do Brasil, no período de 1980 a 1997. O marco conceitual orienta-se pelas ideias de feministas como Simone de Beauvoir e Joan Scott, acerca de conceitos de gênero, igualdade, hierarquia e relações de poder. Para a coleta de dados foi utilizada a história oral temática, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, com oito enfermeiras que atuaram no CAFRM naquelas décadas. O período de coleta dos dados foi em fevereiro de 2012, na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Os resultados indicam que a Marinha do Brasil proporcionou conhecimento e crescimento profissional a essas enfermeiras, os quais foram desenvolvidos em diversos locais, além de uma identidade militar construída ao longo da carreira. Palavras-Chave: Enfermagem; cuidados de enfermagem; mulheres; enfermagem militar.ABSTRACT: This socio-historical, qualitative study aimed to identify the roles played by nurses in Brazil's Women's Auxiliary Navy Reserve Corps (CAFRM) from 1980 to 1997. The conceptual framework of this study is guided by the ideas of feminists including Simone de Beauvoir and Joan Scott as regards the concepts of gender, equality, hierarchy and power relations. Data were collected in February 2012 in Rio de Janeiro using the thematic oral history technique through semi-structured interviews of eight nurses who belonged to the CAFRM during the study period. The results showed that the Brazilian Navy provided the nurses with knowledge and professional developement, which were imparted at various different locations, in addition to a military identity built up over their career.

Sociodemographic and occupational aspects associated with burnout in military nursing workers

Conclusively, it is necessary to think of strategies that favor the military nursing workers' health, strengthening them to serve the Brazilian nation with quality of life, thus having a positive repercussion on the efficiency of carrying out the military activities (23) . Also, that the variables related to this service can be controlled and minimized when associated with burnout.…”

Evolução histórica da configuração da equipe de enfermagem em um hospital militar
