Effectiveness of Creative Responsibility Based Teaching (Crbt) Model on Basic Physics Learning to Increase Student’s Scientific Creativity and Responsibility

Abstract: The Creative Responsibility Based Teaching (CRBT) model is an innovative physics-teaching model designed to enhance students’ scientific creativity and responsibility. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of CRBT model to improve scientific creativity and first year students’ responsibility on Basic Physics learning in academic year 2016/2017. This research used one group pre-test and post-test design on 144 students divided into 4 groups at University of Lambung Mangkurat, South Kalimant… Show more

“…The subjects of science lesson to be used in this study were selected in accordance with the characteristics of the OrDP2E learning model with a contextual approach. This study used one group pre-test posttest design, O1 X O2 [14]. The first step of the learning is begun by giving pre-test (O1).…”

“…This skill is called science process skills (SPS). Science process skills are procedural, experimental, and systemic skills of science as the basis of science (Colvill & Pattie, 2002;Dogan & Kunt, 2016;Karsli & Şahin, 2009;Suyidno et al, 2018;Zeidan & Jayosi, 2015), so it is important for physics teachers to have a good understanding of science process skills.…”

“…Students are required to have superior competencies with various skills in the 21 st century including scientific creativity. The framework for 21 st century learning-based learning systems need to be prepared so that students can overcome various problems of life in the 21 st century that are more complex and must be owned by someone to survive in facing everyday life (Suyidno et al, 2018). Scientific creativity is needed as a provision for life.…”

“…Scientific creativity is a thinking skill to produce new ideas or products that have scientific uses (Ayas & Sak, 2014;Chin & Siew, 2015;Hu & Adey, 2010;Hu et al, 2013;Kang et al, 2015;Raj & Saxena, 2016;Siew et al, 2014;Suyidno et al, 2018). The importance why scientific creativity must be owned and trained by students is because scientific creativity requires students to solve various real-life problems, adapt to the time, create creative and innovative ideas to achieve success in learning (Blascova, 2014; IJORER: https://journal.ia-education.com/index.php/ijorer Dhir, 2014;Greiff et al, 2014;Latuconsina, 2014;OECD, 2014).…”
