Effectiveness of Augmented Reality-Based Learning Media for Engineering-Physics Teaching

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of augmented reality-based learning media and cognitive ability as well as their interaction on student learning outcomes in engineering-physics teaching. The results of the study revealed that augmented reality-based learning media improved student learning outcomes for activity-centered models and exploratory tutorial models. Furthermore, cognitive ability had a positive effect on learning outcomes, and the learning outcomes of students with high cognitive abilities w… Show more

“…Technology learning has become a major option in education, especially with the development of technology in the digital era (Park, Li, and Luo 2021). One of the challenges faced in technology learning is maintaining good student learning outcomes (Sriadhi et al 2022), (Hakiki et al 2023). Learning outcomes are a major factor in learning to be categorized as successful, which involves active participation, motivation, and student interaction with learning materials and peers (Widodo et al 2023).…”

“…To compile quality learning materials, sufficient materials are needed, which can be obtained not only from textbook references but also results published in research journals, best practices, and broader learning resources [9]. In this era, artificial intelligence has been widely developed for animation, simulation, augmented reality, and virtual reality as learning resources [13]. Research has proven the important role of learning resources, such as electronic learning resources and the internet to support learning effectiveness [12].…”
