“…According to Nwabueze (2007), quantification of tannins in the samples was achieved by dissolving 5 g of the aqueous and TOF extracts in 50 mL of distilled water in a conical flask, allowing the mixture to stand 30 min with shaking the flask at 10 min intervals and then centrifuging it at 5000 Â g to obtain a supernatant (tannin extract). These extracts were diluted to 100 mL in a standard flask using distilled water.…”
