Abstract: (NE) amplifies the mitogenic effect of EGF in a rat liver through the adrenergic receptor coupled with G protein, Gh␣. Gh␣ is also known as a transglutaminase 2 (TG2), whose cross-linking activity is implicated in hepatocyte growth.
