Needs Analysis of Electronic Student Worksheets to Practice 4C Skills

This study describes the needs of electronic student worksheets (e-LKM) that practice 21st century skills: critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication (4C). This qualitative descriptive study involved 16 lecturers from 7 universities in Indonesia. The research instrument is a questionnaire that two education experts have validated. The questionnaire was distributed openly through the lecturers and students' WhatsApp groups. The data was collected in the form of questionnaires supported by data from 25 student worksheets collected from lecturers who filled out the questionnaires and were spread on the internet. Questionnaire data is processed using the percentage technique while LKM data is analyzed based on LKM standards, electronic or conventional based, whether or not it supports specific learning models and the emergence of 4C skills. The results showed that many student worksheets did not follow the standard, were not electronic-based, did not support specific learning models, and did not train 4C skills. This research indicates the need to develop electronic student worksheets that practice 4C skills in pandemic situations and teach digital literacy and 21st-century skills.

Kurikulum 2013 mengharuskan peserta didik untuk berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang relevan untuk diterapkan pada kurikulum 2013 adalah Problem Based Learning (PBL), karena berorientasi student-centered learning dan memfasilitasi keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan e-LKPD berbasis PBL untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi hereditas manusia yang layak berdasarkan validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Model penelitian ini mengacu pada model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Data didapatkan menggunakan metode validasi, observasi, tes, dan angket respon. Data validasi didapatkan melalui lembar validasi, data kepraktisan didapatkan dari hasil observasi keterlaksanaan, dan data keefektifan didapatkan dari hasil tes, ketercapaian indikator, dan respon peserta didik. Data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menandakan bahwa e-LKPD memperoleh validitas dengan kategori sangat valid sebesar 97.8%. Hasil kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase dengan kategori sangat praktis sebesar 93.09%, dan keefektifan mendapatkan beberapa hasil yaitu ketuntasan hasil tes sebesar 100%, ketercapaian indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 85.6% dan respon positif peserta didik sebesar 97.76%. Dengan demikian, e-LKPD berbasis PBL pada materi hereditas manusia yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran serta mampu melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. The 2013 curriculum is now being implemented by the government. The goal of the 2013 curriculum is for pupils to have 4C and HOTS competencies. HOTS accomplishment indicators can be seen in relation to 4C abilities, which demand critical thinking from pupils. Students' mindsets will be trained to deal with complicated challenges by developing critical thinking abilities. However, real-world situations in schools demonstrate that pupils' critical thinking skills are still relatively low; the reason for this is that the 2013 curriculum has not been applied adequately in schools. As a result, the solution to this problem is to use problem-solving-based Student Worksheets as instructional resources in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to see how using problem-solving-based Student Worksheets on dynamic fluid content for class XI SMA affects students' critical thinking skills.Post-test Only, Non-Equivalent Control Group Design is a quasi-experimental research design used in this study. For the purpose of this study, the population consisted of students in class XI Natural Sciences. The example used is from class XI (Natural Sciences 1 and 2). This study just looks at the aspect of knowledge. Normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing were used to examine the research data at a significance level of 0.05..Based on the findings of the data analysis, it can be determined that the Problem Solving Model Student Worksheet has a stronger impact on critical thinking abilities in class XI Natural Sciences 2 than in class XI Natural Sciences 1.
