Abstract

RESUMO.A produção mundial de proteína de origem animal vem crescendo constantemente, ao mesmo passo que as exigências dos consumidores por produtos que satisfaçam suas necessidades e desejos. Assim é de fundamental importância o entendimento dos benefícios a serem alcançados com a introdução de programas que visam minimizar o efeito do estresse sobre o bem estar animal e nos produtos finais gerados a partir dessa exploração. A empresa tem como critério de pagamento, cálculos de rendimento e qualidade da carcaça.
