Objective: to systematize the knowledge produced about nursing performance in the face of adolescents' mental health needs. Method: integrative literature review, submitting the problem: what are the mental health needs of adolescents and the nursing care provided? Data collection was performed in the PubMed databases; CINAHL; SciELO; ScienceDirect; LILACS, in the month of April 2018. Were included 30 articles available in Portuguese, English or Spanish with full access and free of charge. The findings were grouped into thematic categories with review/synthesis of knowledge. Results: the sample consisted of articles predominantly in English and published between 1999 and 2018. The main mental health needs of adolescents are related to depression, anxiety, stress, drug use and dependence, eating disorders, among others. Nursing cares include health education, groups, cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal relationships, and activities that involve adolescents, their families, peers and the school environment. It was evidenced that nurses work with different approaches and intervene through the nursing process and physical activity practices, among other tools that are accessible to them. Conclusion: this review allows professionals to formulate new actions that are based on the adolescent's real mental health needs, which are neglected, because they do not attend so much the health services. The need for studies with higher level of scientific evidence is mentioned.

Objective: to understand the experience of families about school experiences of children and adolescents with visual impairment. Method: a qualitative study developed through the Symbolic Interactionism and narrative research. Data were collected through a semistructured recorded interview, with eleven families of children/adolescents with visual impairment, totaling 40 participants. Results: two phenomena emerged: "exclusion context" and "impaired school performance". Prejudice experienced at school brings devastating consequences to the life of the visually impaired child/adolescent and his family. Isolation occurs, difficulty adapting to the support resource and deficits in school performance. Final considerations: production contributes to awakening professionals involved with the assistance of these people. Effective participation of health professionals in this area is required to develop actions with students, teachers and families, aimed at meeting the needs of learning and health promotion, inclusion, and respect for differences.

II ResumoO presente artigo tem como objetivo o levantamento bibliográfico sobre prevenção da violência escolar, por meio de revisão sistemática realizada em periódicos nacionais e internacionais sem delimitação temporal, a partir de artigos indexados em bases multidisciplinares e da saúde. As bases investigadas foram: BVS, PubMed, Eric, SciELO, Web of Science e Sociological Abstracts. A revisão foi realizada com foco em artigos que abordassem estratégias de prevenção e enfrentamento da violência escolar. Dentre os estudos encontrados, foram selecionados 33 artigos. Esses artigos foram categorizados de acordo com seu objetivo principal em três grandes eixos. No primeiro (1), apresentam-se estudos voltados para ações de prevenção e enfrentamento desenvolvidas pelo poder público ou pela própria escola. No segundo (2), apresentam-se estudos sobre programas de prevenção e enfrentamento. E no terceiro eixo (3), são apresentados artigos que realizavam revisão da literatura quanto à qualidade e à efetividade dos programas de prevenção. Os resultados apontam para o predomínio de estudos de avaliação de programas de prevenção da violência de cunho quantitativo e que consideram a definição de violência escolar como interpessoal entre estudantes. É notável a necessidade de haver mais estudos que desenvolvam a temática da violência em escolas e que avaliem ações de prevenção e enfrentamento desse fenômeno.
