In the current era of globalization, technology is increasing and offers many unstoppable conveniences. This is the biggest challenge for humans, so all parties must be jointly responsible for controlling the use of technology to be in harmony with human values. This study examines the ethics of using technology to strengthen students' religious character. This study uses a qualitative research design with a phenomenological approach, namely research that focuses on individual experiences of a phenomenon by collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. Ten people became research subjects, including five lecturers and five students. The resulting data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion. The use of technology brings positive impacts and ethical challenges. Studies show that religious beliefs influence students' religious character, and character strengthening can be done through religious education and the wise use of technology. Integrating ethics and strengthening religious character will create a society that is responsible, cultured and has a solid ethical awareness in the digital era. The findings from this study can provide students with an in-depth understanding of the importance of the ethical use of technology.

This study assesses the factors affecting students' learning experiences in one of the secondary public schools in the Philippines implementing different learning modalities in distance learning. As a learner-public institution, the school has broadened its implementation of learning by providing wide perspectives to students through online distance learning. The study utilized quantitative and qualitative research designs. Purposive sampling was used in the study consisting of 250 students and 18 students who participated in FGD, where data were collected and obtained through a survey questionnaire and focus group discussions. Distance learning encourages students to learn on their own and explore without the assistance of teachers, enhancing their ability to research topics related to the courses they should learn. With the results of the study, two themes emerged: ICT integration and innovational instruction. Mostly, it aided in the development of independence. Students usually lose concentration in their learning tasks as a result of physical distractions and due to slow internet connection. Regardless of their difficulties, students continue their studies because they have learned that the more difficult the road, the sweeter the result. This study will provide baseline information for the development of the school's strategy on how to strengthen and consolidate distance education.

Student learning outcomes in mechanics lectures are influenced by structured activities carried out in each lecture meeting session such as giving quizzes. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the giving of quizzes on mechanics learning through e-learning to students of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sciences at the Universitas Terbuka. This type of research is descriptive, and the research is conducted in semester 2021.1. The numbers of respondents involved in this study were 16 people. Data analysis was carried out by describing the quiz instrument, quiz results obtained by each student in each session, student activities accessing quizzes, comparison of student access hits on initiation materials and toolbar URL. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that student participation in taking the quiz is quite high, but in some lecture sessions there is a decrease in quiz scores. This is influenced by student activities in accessing initiations materials. There is a linear relationship between student activities in accessing initiation materials and completing quizzes in each session. To increase students' active participation in quizzes, online tutorial tutors should encourage students to understand and access initiation materials. The completeness and coherence of the initiation material with the achievement measured in the quiz affects students' success in doing the quiz.
