This paper introduced to develop and implementation of PC based controller for humanoid robot using digital potentiometer. The main objective in this paper is to develop and implement the joystick controller by using a digital potentiometer circuit board that be able to control the humanoid robot movement. The Arduino board and digital potentiometer will be integrated by connecting both pins in between wiper, W pin and ground, GND to the DB9 pins of remote control platform, which is TX and RX pins respectively. Humanoid robot as known as TOMY i-SOBOT is used as a preferred model due to wide usage in many applications. A digital potentiometer will be transmitted the voltage and current value depend on the digital level through serial communication to give the instruction for humanoid robot movement. The humanoid movement based on Guided User Interface (GUI) where the user give a commands by pressing the button on the GUI such as turn left, right, forward, and reverse. The results show that the humanoid movement able to control based on the voltage and current in a digital potentiometers value.

Vision based mapping is an emerging technology with decades of research advancements. The most famous mapping method available is silmuntaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) which provide an accurate map projected in a simulation. Unfortunately, SLAM requires an active sensor in order to acquire the data from its environment opposite the vision-based mapping which requires a passive sensor to collect data. This project aims to develop an autonomous mapping and exploration algorithm, design a controller for the robot-tracked vehicle and analyze the accuracy of the algorithm. The problem in autonomous mapping is precision, limitation of computational power and complex computation. So, the algorithm will be based on the visual odometer algorithm through a single-visual sensor. The robot tracker has also been designed and implemented on Raspberry Pi 3. The accuracy of two object with different height was calculated to ensure the validation of the algorithm being able to project the real object in 3D projection. The result for the task is shown in figures as to present the capability of the algorithm in projecting the map in 3D projection. The algorithm works as expected but still requires improvements to increase the precision of the map projection.

In Indonesia, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on a variety of sectors. Using all available technology for disaster mitigation is critical for pandemic prevention and control. Recent studies have uncovered the advantage of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or drones, particularly those with rotary wings, in dealing with the pandemic. Much effort has been devoted to developing a rotary-wing drone system as a flying platform for aerial monitoring. However, several factors must be considered when visually observing a specific region, i.e., the area's size, topographic contours, locations of special interest inside the area, approach points to the area, and the observation timeframe. Since fever is a common symptom of COVID-19, human body temperature monitoring is highlighted for fever screening, with the objective of minimizing people with high body temperatures going to the crowd. A major challenge is creating a system that can provide accurate body temperature data, which is critical for fighting the pandemic. The purpose of this paper is to present a rotary wing drone application for aerial human body temperature measurements. The paper also proposed an alternative solution based on using a portable, low-cost, Forward-looking Infrared (FLIR) thermal imaging camera. The FLIR thermal camera is incorporated into the drone's electronic system. Furthermore, thermal image data are transmitted into the ground station via a radio telemetry transceiver to allow flexible surveillance by the operator. Indoor and outdoor experiments reveal that the system has been effectively installed and provide data collection for further research. The results show that the system can be used for small-scale area aerial monitoring.
