The discourse about combating corruption through restorative justice has produced positive and negative outcomes. The extraordinary crime of corruption features several distinguishing characteristics distinct from those of general crimes. Even though restorative justice is a method of modernizing the way law enforcement is practiced, the policy that is used to put it into effect needs to be extremely selective and cautious. This study will investigate the applicability of restorative justice to acts of corruption. The research comprises two research questions. 1) How is the concept of Restorative Justice regulated in Indonesia? 2) How is the analysis of Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes on the resolution of corruption through restorative justice? The research employed a normative method that combined a statutory and conceptual approach to problem formulation, indicating that, first, the restorative justice concept is regulated in Indonesia through technical regulations developed by each law enforcement agency, with limited implementation. Second, restorative justice in the settlement of corruption contravenes Article 4 Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes and is a step back in efforts to eradicate corruption, as well as inconsistent with the state's obligation to support policies and effective practices in eradicating corruption as regulated by UNCAC.

In recent years, there have been widespread criminal cases with enormous intensity. With a variety of modus operandi, criminal cases both committed by individuals and collectives, are carried out by ordinary people to the executive, legislative and also the judiciary. The cases that most render the sense of justice ripped apart are the many cases of corruption, bribery and collusion. The judiciary that is trusted often betrays a sense of justice by only giving very light laws for cases of corruption and bribery which are detrimental to the country's finances. Therefore many people, especially Muslims, want the application of Islamic law in the criminal field. With strict legal sanctions and supported by sources that originate from the Qur’an, it is hoped that the existing crime can be minimized.

The aims of this study to find out anti-corruption education urgence for state Islamic religious teachers. This study use Qualitative Research Methods. The result show that Corruption is seen as an extra ordinary crime, therefore it requires extraordinary efforts to eradicate it. Efforts to eradicate corruption which consists of two major parts, namely prosecution and prevention will never be optimally successful if only carried out by the government without involving public participation. Therefore it is not an exaggeration if students - as an important part of society who are the inheritors of the future - are expected to be actively involved in efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. Of course, these efforts are still a discourse and the benefits will not be felt in the short term, but in the long term this discourse is believed to be fruitful. If higher education starts, especially PTKIN, it will inspire others, and one day it comes to efforts to draft a legal product with anti-corruption nuances that can be initiated in PTKIN, such as the Bill, Ranperda and the like. Hopefully PTKIN can play a more significant role in the future. Thus, corruption can be minimized and even eliminated from this beloved country, including through optimizing the role of PTKIN.
