This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and competence on the performance of education personnel at the Pattimura University Rectorate Office, as well as examine the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between the work environment and competence on performance. The type of research used is explanatory research. The unit of analysis is the education staff of the Rector of Pattimura University. Data collection was carried out by questionnaire, with the number of respondents as many as 57 education personnel from a total population of 130 education personnel. Data collection techniques were interviewed using questionnaire models and observation techniques. The questionnaire contains 34 question items. To test the effect a path analysis tool was used using the SPSS program version 26. The results showed that the work environment affects job satisfaction; In addition, competence affects job satisfaction; These findings suggest that the work environment affects performance. Competence affects performance; Job satisfaction affects performance; Job satisfaction as a mediating variable reinforces the influence of the work environment on performance; Job satisfaction as a mediating variable reinforces the influence of competence on performance. Work environment, competence, and job satisfaction as mediating variables with a coefficient of determination of 79.1% and the remaining 20.9% are explained by other variables outside the model. The results of the path analysis can be concluded that the indirect influence of competence through job satisfaction is an effective path to improve performance. This research has important implications for organizational managers, especially in terms of human resource development and performance improvement.

This study seeks to assess, analyze, and quantify the influence of Motivation, Work Environment, and Organizational Culture on both Job Satisfaction and Teacher Performance in State Elementary Schools within Cluster VI of Bengkalis District. The research encompasses 119 teachers, representing the entire population, and employs a census technique. The methodology involves descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing, utilizing Path analysis through SPSS 21 and SmartPLS programs. The findings from hypothesis testing reveal a positive and significant correlation between motivation and job satisfaction. However, the impact of work motivation on performance is positive but not statistically significant. Similarly, the positive relationship between Work Environment and Job Satisfaction is identified, but it lacks a significant impact. The positive association between Work Environment and Performance is observed, yet without a significant impact. Organizational Culture demonstrates a positive link with Job Satisfaction, though lacking a significant impact. However, it positively correlates with Performance and has a significant impact. Interestingly, Job Satisfaction is positively related to performance, yet it does not significantly influence the performance of civil servant teachers in SD Cluster I, Bengkalis District.

In this study, researchers looked at how management working capital affected the profitability of manufacturing companies producing cement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Our sample consisted of three manufacturing company’s registered on the Karachi Stock Exchange, and we examined their performance over a 12-year period from 2008 to 2020. Our primary independent variables were inventory turnover in days (ITID) and average collection period (ACP), while the dependent variables included return on equity (ROE) and net profit margin (NPM). To examine how management working capital and business performance are related, Studies employed panel data analysis techniques. Our findings suggest a positive influence of management working capital on firm profitability. Importantly, this association was found to be statistically importance at the 5 percent level, indicating that effective management of working capital contributes positively to shareholder value. Our study highlights the significant of sound management working capital practices in enhancing the performance of cement manufacturing companies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, ultimately benefiting their shareholders.
