“…Antimicrobial agents are inorganic agents compounded with organic substances, porous materials, or polymeric materials through chemical synthesis, physical adsorption, and other methods. 21 Among them are metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) with metal ions as the center, and organic ligands, through chemical coordination, that can build a three-dimensional structure with high porosity and high effective surface area, 22,23 which can be used to carry antimicrobial agents. It is worth mentioning that the metal centers of certain MOFs also show antibacterial properties.…”

“…[215] Since then, CDT has gradually become a new strategy of cancer treatment using transition metal ions as catalysts to produce ROS under TME to induce cancer cell death. [216][217][218][219] However, the CDT performance is greatly restricted by the weak acidity in tumor tissues as well as the low concentration of H 10A). [136] After modifying with BSA, the FeO/ MoS 10B).…”

“…Since their discovery in 1989, metal organic frameworks (MOFs), built from organic linkers and metal ions, have attracted growing interest for a variety of applications, including catalysis, gas storage, energy, and more recently, biomedicine [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 ]. Nanoscale MOFs (nanoMOFs) were employed in the drug delivery field for the treatment of cancer, infections, diabetes, wounds, and other severe diseases [ 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 ].…”
