A elaboração de substratos para mudas é um desafio para os pesquisadores que tem utilizado diversos materiais e proporções para avaliar o desenvolvimento das cultivares de interesse. No processo produtivo de açúcar e etanol, são gerados alguns resíduos que podem ser reutilizados para a formação de substratos. A observação dos atributos de cada resíduo pode subsidiar informações para uma tomada de decisão mais assertiva, quanto à escolha de cada resíduo e em qual proporção ele será utilizado. O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar a composição ideal de substrato para desenvolvimento de mudas, proveniente de resíduos gerados no processo produtivo da agroindústria canavieira, com base em atributos físicos e químicos. O estudo de insumos utilizados no processo de produção de mudas é baseado nas ciências do solo que reconhece a sua composição pelas fases sólida, líquida e gasosa. Os resíduos gerados na agroindústria canavieira possuem atributos peculiares onde o manejo destes resíduos de forma planejada pode oferecer a disponibilidade dos atributos desejados. Através do reconhecimento dos percentuais quanto ao volume de material mineral, matéria orgânica, água e gases, foi possível identificar a representação do sistema trifásico de cada tratamento que depois de submetidos à Lógica Fuzzy foram classificados como ruim, mediano e ideal. Os materiais utilizados foram bagaço de cana-de-açúcar (B), cinzas do bagaço de cana-de-açúcar (C), torta de filtro (T), latossolo vermelho-amarelo-distrófico (LVAD). Neste trabalho foram realizados sete tratamentos com três repetições e as proporções analisadas foram: S1 -100% B; S2 -100% C; S3 -100% T; S4 -100% LVAD; S5 -50% T + 50% C; S6 -50% T + 50% B; S7 -25% LVAD + 25% T + 50% C. O tratamento S7 foi o que ficou mais próximo da composição desejada e classificado como ideal pelas inferências utilizadas na Lógica Fuzzy.

The aimof this study was to establish a low-cost alternative protocol for micropropagation ofSolanum lycopersicumL. var.cerasiforme,popularly known as cherry tomato. In the in vitroestablishment, culture mediacontaining Laboratory Reagent-grade (LR)and commercialsucrose and varied concentrations of corn starch and agarwere tested. The replacement of thermal sterilization, usingautoclave,withchemicalsterilization,adding sodium hypochlorite (2%) in the medium, was also evaluated. In the multiplication stage,the mediumwas supplemented with agar and/or corn starch and commercial sucrose.Forrooting, agrowth regulator-free medium withcommercialsucrose supplemented with agar and/or starch was used. Themicroplants were thentransplanted into plasticcontainerscontainingonlygarden substrateandsubsequentlyacclimatized in a greenhouse.The results make it possibleto conclude that the reduction of costs in the micropropagation of cherry tomatocan beobtained by replacing LRsucrose with commercial sucrose,and by the use of chemical sterilization of the culture medium withsodium hypochlorite. This study aimed to evaluate the seedlings growth of Petunia x hybridaand Gomphrena globosaat different times and substrates based on agricultural residues. A completely randomized experimental design was adopted, in a factorial scheme, with treatments consisting of four replications and the experimental unit formed by ten plants. The flower species Petunia x hybridaand G. globosawere cultivated in five substrate compositions and in two seasons, with sowing carried out in April and June for Petunia x hybridaand April and October for G. globosa. The substrates were composed using commercial substrate (CM), bovine manure (BM), worm humus (WM) and rice husk ash (HA), in volumetric proportions: (S1) 100% CS; (S2) 40% CS + 20% BM + 20% WH + 20% HA; (S3) 60% CS + 20% WH + 20% HA; (S4) 60% CS + 20% BM + 20% HA; and (S5) 80% CS + 20% BM. Emergence, emergence speed index, height, number of leaves, length of the largest leaf, length of the largest root, dry mass of the aboveground part, dry mass of the root system and total dry mass were evaluated. The seedlings growth of the Petunia x hybridaand G. globosachanged according to the characteristics of the substrates and the growing seasons. The substrate composed with 80% commercial substrate and 20% bovine manure showed similar or superior results to the commercial substrate and can be used in order to reduce production costs without prejudice to the seedlings growth. The cultivation of Petunia x hybridain April resulted in seedlings with greater height, leaf length and greater accumulation of phytomass. The G. globosa seedlings showed greater development of the aboveground part and the root system, in addition to greater accumulation of phytomass when cultivated in October.
