“…The implications of the study are twofold: theoretical and practical. From a theoretical point of view, the conceptualizations proposed herein enlarge the existing body of academic entrepreneurship research (Fini, Grimaldi, and Sobrero ; Fryges and Wright ; Ozgul and Kunday ; Prodan and Drnovsek ; Prodan and Slavec ). First, this study analyzes multiple variables (which were previously studied only in isolation) using a unique multidimensional model and assesses their joint impact on AEI.…”

This is why AEI (i.e., the manner in which intention to start a new entrepreneurial adventure matures in research‐trained subjects) could be considered a fascinating research issue and has recently attracted a growing number of researchers of entrepreneurship (Goethner et al ; Huyghe and Knockaert ; Mosey, Noke, and Binks ; Prodan and Drnovsek ; Ozgul and Kunday ).…”

“…This is why, Academic Entrepreneurial Intention (AEI) is considered fundamental. To start a new entrepreneurial adventure which is based on the outcome of academicians, research is considered a fascinating research issue and has recently attracted a growing number of researchers in entrepreneurship (Mosey;Ozgul and Kunday 2015). Academic literature has paid great attention towards understanding the characteristics of academic spin-offs and to the process behind their creation (Di Gregorio and Shane 2003;Grandi and Grimaldi 2005).…”
