First, despite the increased attention on the issue of academic entrepreneurship (Clarysse, Tartari, and Salter ; Fini et al ; Meoli and Vismara ; Siegel and Wright ), only a few studies devote explicit attention to the determinants of academic entrepreneurial intention (AEI) (Prodan and Drnovsek ; D'Orazio, Monaco, and Palumbo ; Goethner et al ; Huyghe and Knockaert ; Mosey, Noke, and Binks ; Ozgul and Kunday ).
