ABSTRACT:This study aimed to describe management and implementation of care for women hospitalized due to an abortion, from the perspective of nursing professionals. A qualitative study performed in an obstetric hospital unit of a University Hospital in the extreme South of Brazil, by means of a semi-structured interview with 19 nursing professionals. For the analysis, the Collective Subject Discourse technique was used. The statements were ambivalent. Some nursing professionals reported interference in discriminatory behavior and little interaction with the woman, resulting in care being organized with a focus on clinical aspects. Others considered care to be appropriate, regardless of the etiology of abortion, pointing out some humanized initiatives such as emotional support and provision of a private therapeutic environment. This research broadens the range of information about the management and implementation of care for women hospitalized due to abortion, highlighting the importance of articulating perceptions, feelings and ethical behavior with actions to plan, manage and provide care. Estudo qualitativo, realizado na unidade de internação obstétrica de um hospital universitário do extremo sul do Brasil, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada com 19 profissionais de enfermagem. Para análise, utilizou-se a técnica do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo. Os discursos mostraram-se ambivalentes. Alguns profissionais de enfermagem referiram que há interferência do comportamento discriminatório e pouca interação com a mulher, resultando na organização do cuidado focado nos aspectos clínicos. Outros consideraram o atendimento bom, independentemente da etiologia do aborto, apontando algumas iniciativas humanizadas como apoio emocional e provisão de um ambiente terapêutico privativo. Esta pesquisa amplia o leque de informações acerca da gestão e realização do cuidado às mulheres hospitalizadas por abortamento, destacando a importância de articular percepções, sentimentos e comportamento ético com ações de planejar, gerenciar e cuidar. ResumoOs hospitais compõem o nível terciário da Rede de Atenção à Saúde, os quais englobam conjuntos de procedimentos que, no contexto do Sistema Único de saúde, envolve alta tecnologia e alto custo e integra os demais níveis de atenção à saúde. Dessa forma, a constituição de uma rede de serviços implica um novo modelo de gestão cujos pressupostos estejam voltados para a qualidade da assistência nos diferentes níveis de atenção à saúde. Um dos modelos de gestão que favorece a descentralização e a participação dos profissionais é o modelo de gestão colegiada. Assim, o objetivo do estudo foi conhecer a gestão colegiada na perspectiva de profissionais de uma unidade de internação pediátrica de um hospital universitário. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, analítico-descritiva com 16 profissionais de diferentes categorias de um Hospital Universitário em Minas Gerais. A coleta de dados deu-se por meio de entrevistas com roteiro semiestruturado, as quais foram submetidos à Análise de Conteúdo. Percebeu-se que os profissionais consideram que a gestão colegiada possui entraves, são eles: falha na comunicação entre os profissionais e entre eles e a diretoria; reuniões pouco frequentes; falta de repasse e compartilhamento das informações e de participação da diretoria e; dificuldade de realizar o trabalho em equipe. Em contrapartida, o trabalho em equipe é efetivo nos projetos multiprofissionais. Conclui-se que a gestão colegiada acontece em um meio corporativista e pouco democrático, demonstrando a necessidade de transformação da cultura organizacional para que ela seja participativa. Palavras-chave: AbstractThe hospitals make up the tertiary level of Health Care Network, which include sets of procedures in the context of the Health System, it involves high technology and high cost and integrates other health care levels. Thus, the establishment of a network of services implies a new management model whose assumptions are focused on the quality of care at different levels of health care. One of management models that favor decentralization and participation of professionals is a model of collegiate management. Thus, the objective of the study was to know the collegiate management from the perspective of professionals in a pediatric unit of a university hospital. For this, a qualitative research, analytical and descriptive was conducted with 16 professionals from different categories of of a university hospital. The data collection took place through interviews with semi structured script, which were submitted to content analysis. It was noticed that professionals consider that the collegiate management has barriers they are lack of communication between professionals and between them and the directors; infrequent meetings; lack of transfer and sharing of information and the participation of the directors and difficulty of performing the teamwork. This study's objective was to identify changes in decision-making arising from the revitalization of the participatory management model and how these changes impacted the daily work of the nursing staff, as well as to identify potential difficulties. This qualitative case study was conducted in a public hospital in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. Participant observation and semistructured interviews were conducted with 23 nursing workers and the Health Technical Assistant. We used thematic content analysis for data analysis. The revitalization of the management model was not comprehensive because many professionals were oblivious to the process. Shared actions did not occur and adherence to the model was hampered because the workers were not fully informed of the assumptions concerning this management model. For the implementation of this model to be effective, teamwork and the inclusion of all the stakeholders should be reviewed in order to achieve more cooperative and qualified work. Tratase de estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvido em hospital público do estado de São Paulo. Observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas foram realizadas com 23 trabalhadores da enfermagem e a Assistente Técnica de Saúde. Para a análise dos dados optou-se pela análise temática de conteúdo. A revitalização do modelo de gestão não ocorreu de forma expressiva, pois muitos profissionais desconheciam esse processo. O agir compartilhado não se efetivou e a adesão ao modelo foi prejudicada, pois foi incipiente a estratégia de orientação acerca dos pressupostos do modelo gerencial. Para que seja possível a efetivação deste modelo, deve ser revisto o trabalho em equipe e a inserção de todos os envolvidos buscando um trabalho mais articulado e qualificado.PALAVRAS CHAVE: Equipe de enfermagem.
