Table I gives a guide as to the residence times and bromine concentrations which will yield a given degree of kill of E. coli, and the data compare with (Koski, Stewart, et al, 1966), where 1 p.p.m. Br2 at pH 6.1 gave a 99.98% kill of E. coli in 30 seconds.…”
