“…The chemical compositions of EOs vary according to several plant characteristics (location, age, climate, cultivars, temperature and growth regulators) and sampling methods (plant part, drying, comminution, distillation and storage) (Wang et al., 2014). However, EOs analysed in this study (BCEO, COEO, CBEO, CCEO, CSEO, LGEO, EGEO, OBEO and TVEO) had similar chemical profile to those described in the literature from plants of the same species, even when plants were collected from different locations, extracted from a different plant organ, and analysed using the same methods (Aguiar et al., 2014; Anil et al., 2016; Bouzouita et al., 2010; Harkat‐Madouri et al., 2015; Jin et al., 2015; Jordán et al., 2006; Khadidja et al., 2010; Kiran et al., 2017; Kirbaslar et al., 2001; Maher et al., 2012; Mohamed Hanaa et al., 2012; Padalia et al., 2017; Phan Minh & Phan Tong, 2016; Reyes‐Jurado et al., 2019; Selim et al., 2014; Soliman et al., 2017). For most of the EOs considered, differences were observed regarding percentages of components.…”
