“…For the ApoG2 and DOX tumor combination therapy system, the main challenge is to develop a novel nanoparticle platform that not only loads soluble DOX and insoluble ApoG2 with optimal doses and adjustable ratio but also has tumor-targeting and controlled sequenced drugrelease characters. In our previous work, nanosized cationic amylose-encapsulated soluble Hb was used to overcome the disadvantage of swelling for amphipathic starch micelles [12]. Insoluble ApoG2 was successfully loaded into CSaSt micelles, which have high EE and DL with sizes of 68.5 ± 2.7 nm.…”

“…Many starch nanoparticles have been reported available in the pharmaceutical field [10,11]. Our previous study solved the swelling of amylose (an ingredient of starch) nanoparticles in aqueous solution with grafted quaternary ammonium salt for cationization [12]. Our investigation showed that insoluble anti-tumor drug ApoG2 can be loaded with high encapsulating efficiency (EE) and drug loading (DL) by amphipathic starch micelles in which stearic acid was grafted on the chain at extensive substitution rates.…”

“…The enclosing membrane prevents vasopressor effects, avoids the Hb colloidal osmotic effect, prolongs circulation half-life, and makes the direct modification of Hb unnecessary , Piras et al 2008. Other reports on the nanodimension membrane enclosed RBC have concentrated on the use of different membranes, such as lipid membrane liposomes (Djordjevich andMiller 1980, Tsuchida et al 2009), synthetic polymer (Piras et al 2008), or natural polymer (Gao et al 2011). This paper combines our nanobiotechnological approaches of PolySFHb-SOD-CAT-CA (Bian et al 2011) with PEG-PLA nanocapsules , Chang 2007, Fustier and Chang 2012.…”
