“…In this context, there is an increase in interest in resilience on the part of researchers and individuals working in the health sector, reflecting the need for investment in preventing problems and promoting mental health. However, although the literature points to the existence of studies on health phenomena (stress, sleep quality, Burnout and depressive symptoms), hardiness and quality of life in teachers (SOUSA, IF;E MENDONÇA, 2009;KOTTWITZ, GERHARDT, PEREIRA, ISELI AND ELFERING, 2017), few analyze the existing relationships between these phenomena in university professors, especially those in the health field (PYZALSKI, 2017;KIRCHHOF, FREITAS, SILVA, GUIDO, COSTA AND LOPES, 2015).
