“…The species was recently described based on materials collected in the municipality of Morro do Chapeu, the same location where the material analyzed here was collected. It is closely related to A. erskinei Mayo, from which it differs in having longer inflorescences, shorter and wider leaves, a shorter spathe, and larger flowers (Pontes & al., 2019). Like other Anthurium species, the karyotype consists of submetacentric and metacentric chromosomes, with the presence of a smaller B chromosome.…”
