“…Ten patients initially admitted with symptoms of COVID-19 were diagnosed with mesenteric ischemia after an interval of 2-27 days of hospitalization 7 , 10 , 20 , 24 , 28 , 33 , 36 , 57 - 59 . Another 19 patients had previously been diagnosed with COVID-19 but returned to the emergency service or required intra/inter-hospital transfer with gastrointestinal complaints 8 , 9 , 26 , 28 , 30 , 31 , 37 , 39 , 43 - 45 , 47 - 49 , 51 , 60 - 62 .
