Abstract:RESUMO Acacia globosa e A. limae são descritas e ilustradas. Acacia globosa é semelhante à A. riparia, da qual difere pelo número de pares de folíolos 5-7, pelo pecíolo, ráquis foliar e foliólulos seríceos. Acacia limae também é próxima de A. riparia, diferindo pelas glândulas do pecíolo estipitadas e clavadas. Acacia globosa é endêmica no estado da Bahia e Acacia limae é encontrada nos estados da Bahia, Pernambuco e Minas Gerais.
