“…Senegalia polyphylla presents a wide distribution in the Neotropics, from Mexico to Colombia, Brazil and Argentina (Burkart 1979). In Brazil it occurs from Amazonas to Paraná (BFG 2015), in Cerrado, Atlantic Forest and Caatinga in Minas Gerais (Terra et al 2014). This species can be distinguished from S. lasyophylla by the tomentose leaflets on both surfaces versus leaflets glabrescent on both surfaces.…”

Além da pouca informação nesta linha de pesquisa, de acordo com [30] e Terra e Garcia (2014) [31] a Senegalia bahiensis está sendo recomendada para a lista na categoria espécies ameaçadas de extinção em Minas Gerais, o que torna ainda mais importante e urgente o conhecimento sobre a espécie.…”
