Besides that, when reviewing the literature of the IPA's psychoanalytical orthodoxy, Bulamah and Kupermann (2016) indicate that all psychoanalysts who published reports of analyses with trans patients have positioned themselves regarding Robert Stoller's ideas (p. 75). This means taking Stoller initially as a privileged interlocutor, given that, even though Lacan (1970Lacan ( -1971Lacan ( /2009, in his Seminars, book XVIII, recommends reading Sex and gender (Stoller, 1968), which was then recently published, his theoretical perspectives are not to be mistaken.…”
