“…Table 5 addresses the Comparison of Center Frequencies, NGD Bandwidths and Magnitudes of Different BP NGD Lumped Circuits Available in the Literature (Mao et al, 2019;Ravelo, 2014Ravelo, , 2017Vauché et al, 2021;Abuelma'atti & Khalifa, 2018;Meng et al, 2018;Wan, Ji and Ravelo, 2019) and the Present Study. The NGD Circuits are Either Passive and Active Type and Constituted by R, L, C, operational amplifier and transistor.…”

“…It was found that the NGD function enables also to propagate signals with superluminal effect (Cao et al., 2003; Munday & Henderson, 2004; Ségard & Macke, 2008). The existence and the designability of electronic circuits exhibiting the NGD function becomes also an attractive research topic for electronic design engineers (Abuelma'atti & Khalifa, 2018; Cao et al., 2003; Jian‐Wu & Zheng‐He, 2015; Kitano et al., 2003; Mao et al., 2019; Meng et al., 2018; Mitchell & Chiao, 1998, 1997; Munday & Henderson, 2004, 2007; Nakanishi et al., 2002; Ravelo, 2014, 2017; Ravelo, Wan, Ge, 2021; Ségard & Macke, 2008; Wan, Wang, Ravelo et al., 2019; Vauché et al., 2021) The intriguing NGD function has also experimented with abnormal electronic circuits (Mao et al., 2019). Time‐domain demonstrations (Jian‐Wu & Zheng‐He, 2015; Kitano et al., 2003; Munday & Henderson, 2004; Nakanishi et al., 2002; Wan, Wang, Ravelo et al., 2019) with electronic circuits were carried out to illustrate the NGD function.…”

“…This time-domain NGD effect is not in contradiction with the causality [18,19] and for example the NGD effect has been experimented with audio signals [23]. Various NGD circuits based on lumped circuits have been designed [26][27][28]. But so far, despite the work done on this extraordinary function, the NGD function is still not clearly interpreted by non-specialist due to the circuit topology complexity [26][27][28].…”

But so far, despite the work done on this extraordinary function, the NGD function is still not clearly interpreted by non-specialist due to the circuit topology complexity [26][27][28]. Therefore, further studies are necessary for the understanding of this intriguing function as the common classical electronic functions such as filters, amplifiers, oscillators, phase shifters, etc.…”

“…Thus, despite the implicit counterintuitive effect, it was emphasized that the NGD function does not contradict the causality (Mitchell and Chiao, 1997, 1998). Last two decades, different design of active circuits based on bilateral gain-compensated (Kandic and Bridges, 2011), current-feedback operational-amplifier and uses grounded resistors and capacitors (Abuelma’atti and Khalifa, 2018) and broadband switch-less bi-directional amplifier (Meng et al , 2018) circuits were proposed.…”
