A religiosidade faz parte da integralidade do ser humano e pode influenciar positivamente no estilo de vida das pessoas. Este, por sua vez, está associado às doenças crônicas não transmissíveis no Brasil e no mundo. Partindo desse contexto, o objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar a associação entre religiosidade e estilo de vida de profissionais de saúde de um Núcleo de Apoio à Saúde da Família (NASF). Pesquisa descritiva, de corte transversal e quantitativa. Amostra de conveniência que incluiu 29 profissionais. Aplicou-se dois questionários: Índice de Religiosidade Duke-Durel e Estilo de Vida Fantástico. Constatou-se, no grupo estudado, que a maioria era do sexo feminino (69%, n=20) e se declarou evangélica (79%, n=23) com idade média de 31,7 (dp=5,71). Os participantes possuíam bom envolvimento religioso (59% ou mais) e o estilo de vida "muito bom" (escore total de 79,4), porém são deficientes na dimensão "atividades físicas", com média abaixo do normal (2,93 com amplitude de 0-8). A maioria declarou ter recebido enfoque sobre espiritualidade na formação acadêmica e afirmou envolvimento em cultos religiosos, considerando a prática da religião de grande relevância em sua vida diária, pessoal e profissional. Conclui-se que, nenhuma das variáveis da religiosidade esteve estatisticamente associada às dimensões do estilo de vida Fantástico bem como ao seu escore total, no entanto houve associação entre a variável "frequência à igreja" e "ser ou não praticante" da religião.Palavras-chave: Religião. Espiritualidade. Estilo de Vida. Promoção da Saúde.Religiosity is part of the completeness of the human being and can positively influence people's lifestyle. This, in turn, is associated with chronic noncommunicable diseases in Brazil and worldwide. From this context, the objective of this study was to analyze the association between religiosity and lifestyle of health professionals from the Family Health Support Centers (NASF). It is a descriptive, cross-sectional and quantitative study. Convenience sample have been taken, in which 29 professionals answered two questionnaires: Religiosity Index "Duke-Durel" and Lifestyle "Fantastic". It was found with the studied group that the majority were female (69%, n = 20) and declared themselves Evangelicals (79%, n = 23) with an average age of 31.7 (SD = 5.71). Participants had good religious involvement (59% or more) and the lifestyle is "very good" (total score of 79.4) but are deficient in "physical activity" dimension with an average below normal (2.93, range 0-8). Almost all of them claimed to have received approach on spirituality in academic school, and had involvement in religious cults, considering the religious practice of great importance in their daily, personal and professional life. It was concluded that none of the religious variables was statistically associated with lifestyle dimensions or to their total score. However, there was an association between the variable "church attendance" and "to be or not practitioner" of religion.

Conclusion: The results revealed that religiosity/spirituality is an important tactic in facing the oncologic disease, considering that the patients interviewed reported the positive meaning of the support received, because faith provides a constructive way of thinking. Thus, it was possible to evidence the relevance of the religious/spiritual support for oncologic patients during the hospital stay.Descriptors: Spirituality; Religion; Cancer; Nursing. RESUMENObjetivo: Investigar cómo los pacientes con diagnóstico de cáncer conciben el apoyo religioso/espiritual en el contexto del hospital. Métodos:Estudio exploratorio, con abordaje cualitativo, realizado con pacientes afectados por el cáncer, asistidos en la Clínica Médica y Quirúrgica del Hospital Universitário Lauro Wanderley (HULW/UFPB). Resultados:En el análisis de los datos cualitativos, después de atentas lecturas de las declaraciones de los entrevistados, surgirán las siguientes categorías temáticas: Categoría 1 -Significado del apoyo religioso/espiritual recibida durante la hospitalización; Categoría 2 -Los promotores del apoyo religioso/espiritual en el ambiente del hospital; Categoría 3 -Participación en las actividades religiosas/espirituales durante la hospitalización. Conclusión: Los resultados revelaron que la religiosidad/espiritualidad es una táctica importante en el afrontamiento de la enfermedad oncológica, considerando que los enfermos entrevistados reportaron el significado positivo del apoyo recibido, pues la fe proporciona una manera de pensar constructiva. Así, fue posible evidenciar la relevancia del apoyo religioso/ espiritual para los pacientes oncológicos durante la internación.

<div class="page" title="Page 1"><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p>A despeito da integralidade do cuidado em saúde, a dimensão da religiosidade/espiritualidade (R/E) pouco aparece na arena do debate, permanecendo à margem da reflexão acadêmica e da prática do serviço. O objetivo desse estudo quantitativo foi verificar o modo como a dimensão da R/E é vista e encaminhada na prática dos profissionais da área da saúde. A pesquisa foi realizada com 174profissionais/trabalhadores da saúde de variadas instituições públicas do Rio Grande do Sul. Os participantes responderam a um questionário com 35 questões em que constavam dados sociodemográficos e questões fechadas sobre a prática da R/E desses profissionais. O público foi de 143 mulheres e 31 homens, com idades entre 19 e 63 anos (média de 41,02 e DP de 10,79), de diferentes profissões da saúde. Sobre a afiliação religiosa, as respostas mais frequentes foram: espírita (21%), católico não praticante (18,2%), sem religião mas acredita em Deus (14,2%), afro-brasileiras (11,9%) e católico praticante (10,8%). Os dados apontam para a necessidade de estes profissionais estarem mais bem capacitados para lidar com a demanda religiosa/espiritual dos pacientes, para ausência desse tema na sua formação técnico-profissional e para a falta de espaços e estruturas institucionais que acolham essas demandas do usuário do sistema de saúde.</p></div></div><div class="layoutArea"><div class="column"><p><span>P</span><span>ALAVRAS</span><span>-</span><span>CHAVE</span><span>: </span><span>Religiosidade/Espiritualidade. Formação profissional. </span></p><p><span>A</span><span>BSTRACT </span></p><p><span>Despite the integrality of health care, the dimension of religiosity /spirituality (R/ E) remains on the margins of academic reflection and service practice. The aim of this quantitative study was to investigate how the dimension of R/E is perceived and sent in the practice of health professionals. The survey was conducted with 174 health professionals from various public institutions of Rio Grande do Sul. The participants answered a survey with 35 questions that included socio-demographic data and closed questions about the practice of R/E of these </span>professionals. The sampling was 143 women and 31 men, between the ages of 19 and 63 years (mean 41.02, SD10.79), of different health occupations. Regarding religious affiliation, the most frequent responses were: Spiritualist (21%), Lapsed Catholic (18.2%), no religion but believes in God (14.2%), Afro-Brazilian (11.9%) and Practicing Catholic (10.8%).
