Ativismo negro e religioso: o caso da Frente Parlamentar de Terreiros no Congresso Nacional Brasileiro

Abstract: O artigo analisa a atuação da Frente Parlamentar de Terreiros no Congresso Nacional entre as 54-ª e 55-ª legislaturas, com o objetivo de refletir sobre modalidades de inserção pública de religiosos de matriz afro-brasileira na política. Para tanto, acompanhei eventos de lançamento da Frente em Brasília e realizei entrevistas com articuladores e deputados a ela integrados. A defesa da liberdade e a luta por reconhecimento atravessam suas distintas formações.
