Show more

“…These results are justified by the greater nutritional availability close to the 50% dose of the recommendation. The PNVA ranged from 10.51% to 23.47%, however, these values are lower than those reported by Santos Júnior et al (2011b) which obtained a change from 21.70% to 35.81%. According to Garcia et al (2010), progressive saline stress may induce ionic toxicity and/or nutritional imbalance due to the excessive accumulation of ions in the cellular protoplasm, and may cause cellular injury through oxidative stress, which may result in a decrease in the number of achenes, mass of achenes and, consequently, greater number of pimples.…”

“…However, the response to the B increase can vary between genotypes; with the variety BR 122 and the hybrids Aguará and Gurupi having the largest capitulum diameter when nourished with 3 kg ha -1 of B * p < 0.05. ( Capone et al, 2016), while in contrast, the varieties Embrapa 122/V-2000, Leila and Hélio 863 did not significantly respond to doses of B (Santos Junior et al, 2011;Euba Neto et al, 2014;Khalid et al, 2020).…”

“…Paraíba, from an agricultural point of view, stands out as a state affected by an irregular rainfall regime. These characteristics are limiting factors for agricultural development, significantly compromising the yield of agricultural crops (Santos Júnior et al 2011). Most of the time, the water available for irrigation has a moderate salt 1.…”
