This paper aimed to analyze the healthcare itineraries of women with histories of hypertensive syndromes during pregnancy. The method used was to study oral reports, and the results from 35 interviews were grouped into four thematic categories: comprehension of health and illness; perceptions of risk; institutional interactions; affective and family interactions involved in seeking care. Multiple situations of vulnerability affect the care itinerary, including difficulties in accessing specialized services and relationships with healthcare professionals. Knowledge and healthcare practices shared within the community are important resources in constructing care, which can also be affected positively or negatively by the dynamics of interactions within the affective-family network and by the social support received.

Introduction: The experience of childbirth may result in the appearance of adjustment disorders (AD), jeopardizing maternal and newborn health. Aim: Check for signs of AD in mothers and their possible relationship with the birth experience. Method: This is a descriptive exploratory study. Data were collected at two moments in time: in the immediate postpartum period and between 90 to 180 days after delivery, in which we applied the Impact of Events Scale (IES). The study population consisted of 98 mothers at a hospital in São Paulo. Results: Of the 98 women, 9.2% reported signs of AD related to the childbirth experience. This was more common in those who have had c-sections and in those who were not accompanied by a companion. Conclusion: The use of IES allowed us to check for signs of AD, its association with the type of delivery, and with the presence of a companion.

In the context of the Epistemologies of the South, the sociology of absence and emergence is adopted to show the social movement articulated amongst women in the Brazilian blogosphere for humanizing childbirth. Anchored on the methodological strategic of the symbolic cartography, the analysis of blog Cientista Que Virou Mãe elucidates how these activists are using those spaces in the pursuit of a more human and less violent childbirth assistance. It is concluded that Internet tools have allowed a pioneer mobilization in respecting women's reproductive rights in Brazil, turning those channels in virtually hegemonic as alternative ways for the feminine emancipation, as a whole, and for the rebirth of childbirth, in particular.Keywords: Blogs. RESUMOA partir do contexto das Epistemologias do Sul, adota-se a sociologia das ausências e a sociologia das emergências para mostrar o movimento que se articula entre mulheres na blogosfera brasileira pela humanização do parto. Evidencia-se, a partir da análise do blog Cientista Que Virou Mãe, ancorada pela estratégia metodológica da cartografia simbólica, como essas ativistas estão usando esses espaços digitais na busca por uma assistência obstétrica mais humana e menos violenta. Conclui-se que as ferramentas da Internet têm permitido uma mobilização inédita em prol do respeito aos direitos reprodutivos das mulheres no Brasil, tornando as redes sociais digitais em tela em canais virtualmente hegemônicos para a emancipação feminina com um todo, e para o renascimento do parto, em particular.Palavras-chave: Blogs.
