Abstract: Nas indústrias de base ou de transformação tais como, siderúrgicas, metalúrgicas, petroquímicas, entre outras, a energia consumida para o aquecimento da carga sofre perdas tanto pela exaustão dos gases quanto pelos refratários que revestem internamente esses equipamentos industriais que trabalham em altas temperaturas.
