Abstract: ResumoEste artigo aborda resumidamente o desenvolvimento das ciências sociais e humanas em saúde no ensino e na pesquisa no Brasil, desde sua implantação na década de 1960 até o momento, destacando suas especificidades nos diferentes níveis de ensino e nos temas pesquisados e instituições acadêmicas onde foram implantados.
