“…The obtained data were compared with the results of plants irrigated with water of 3.0 dS m -1 from Experiment I, in which N fertilization corresponded to 100% of the recommendation. The data were analyzed in a randomized block design using a 3 × 2 factorial scheme, corresponding to the three scion-rootstock combinations (refered in Experiment I) and two N doses (100 and 200 mg kg -1 of soil N) was used as the N source as it has a high N concentration and a low cost/benefit ratio (MARCHESAN et al, 2011).…”

“…The experiment was conducted in 3 x 2 factorial scheme, which corresponded to three scion-rootstock combinations and two N doses, with three replicates and one plant per plot. Urea (45% of N) was used as the N source, which has the advantages of high N concentration and lower cost/benefit ratio (Marchesan et al, 2011).…”

“…Among the nitrogen fertilizers most used in coffee cultivation, urea is the most prominent. The use of this fertilizer has advantages such as lower cost per unit of N, high N concentration, low production cost, low corrosivity and lower acidifying power compared to other N sources (MARCHESAN et al, 2011).…”
