Prevalência de excesso de peso e fatores associados em adolescentes de escolas privadas de região urbana na Amazônia

Abstract: OBJETIVO: Analisar a prevalência e fatores associados ao excesso de peso corporal em adolescentes do ensino médio. MÉTODOS: Estudo transversal com 741 adolescentes de escolas privadas de Rio Branco, Acre. O peso e a altura foram aferidos de forma prospectiva e o índice de massa corporal calculado, definindo-se excesso de peso de acordo com a curva de referência da Organização Mundial da Saúde de 2007.
