Micropropagation of the ornamental vulnerable bromeliads Aechmea blanchetiana and Aechmea distichantha

Abstract: Aechmea blanchetiana and Aechmea distichantha are Brazilian native bromeliads with great ornamental value, although none of the species are produced commercially. Therefore, market demands are met through nature predatory exploitation.
