Show more

“…Excepting "Palmer", the lower susceptibility of "Keitt", "T. Atkins" and "Van Dyke" observed in this study was also reported earlier (Araújo et al, 2014;Galli et al, 2011;Ribeiro et al, 1984Ribeiro et al, , 1986Rossetto et al, 1996). Nevertheless, a high physiological variability in aggressiveness has been reported in C. fimbriata populations from mango and other crops (Araújo et al, 2014; Nunes, Table 4 Genetic gain based in reduction on the percentage of lesion size on the branch for resistance to Ceratocystis wilt with the selection of the top 10 potential cultivars.…”

“…Genetic variability for resistance to Ceratocystis wilt has already been observed in differents cultivars of mango used as scions or rootstocks (Galli et al, 2011;Ribeiro et al, 1984;Rossetto et al, 1996). According to these studies, "Haden" is considered highly susceptible.…”

“…Rossetto et al (1996) observed that 'Ubá' plants were resistant to the IAC FITO 334-1 isolate, with 0% mortality and susceptible to IAC FITO 4905 isolate, with 60% mortality. Galli et al (2011), using IAC FITO 13.966 and IAC FITO 13.977, Ceratocystis isolates found 45% mortality in 'Ubá', characterized as resistant and 15% mortality in 'Dura', considered resistant. The results found in the present work differed from results found by Rossetto et al (1996) and Galli et al (2005), probably due to the fact that C. fimbriata isolates and water conditions are different and also due to possible genetic differences among 'Ubá' accessions used (ROCHA, 2009).…”

“…Dez espécies de maior ocorrência nas ruas do bairro Centro, cidade de Rio de janeiro, RJ Table 1. Ten species of major occurrence at the streets of the neighborhood Centro, at the city of Rio de Janeiro, RJ Galli et al (2011) é necessária a retirada das árvores, pois não existem produtos químicos ou biológicos ou práticas silvicuturais de medidas de controle desta doença nas mangueiras.…”
