RESUMENEl IIAP, en alianza con el INIA, viene desarrollando un plan de mejoramiento y producción de semilla mejorada del camu-camu (Myrciaria dubia H.B.K Mc Vaugh). Se están evaluando colecciones básicas y pruebas genéticas, con el fin de seleccionar las plantas superiores de acuerdo a caracteres prioritarios como: precocidad, peso de fruto y contenido de ácido ascórbico. En el 2007 se llevó a cabo el ensayo de 108 progenies precoces, bajo un diseño de bloque completo aleatorizado, con 4 repeticiones y 3 plantas medias hermanas por unidad experimental. Por su precocidad y rendimiento de fruta, en un análisis acumulativo de largo plazo (2007)(2008)(2009)(2010)(2011)(2012), se vienen seleccionando las plantas a nivel de progenies e individuos. En el 2013 se realizaron pruebas de heredabilidad en el sentido estricto, haciendo uso del software genético SELEGEM REML-BLUP, además se ha realizado el análisis de varianza (Inter-Intra-grupos, ONEWAY-SPSS), para los caracteres número de fruto/planta, porcentaje de frutos atacados, peso promedio de fruto y rendimiento de fruto. In 2007 the 108 early progeny test was intalled under a randomized complete block design with 4 replications and 3 half sisters plants, per experimental unit . For his precocity and fruit yield, in a cumulative analysis of long-term (2007-2012) will come at selecting progeny plants and individuals. In 2013, heritability tests in the narrow sense were performed, using genetic selection software REML-BLUP SELEGEM. Also has made the analysis of variance (Inter-Intra-groups ONEWAY-SPSS) for characters "number of fruit / plant," percentage of attacked fruits, average fruit weight and fruit yield.
