“…A economia criativa nasce nos anos 1990, na Austrália e no Reino Unido, como uma nova proposta para o desenvolvimento econômico. Os programas de governo, especialmente na Inglaterra, vislumbraram na economia criativa, por meio do incentivo à geração de propriedade intelectual, direitos autorais e marcas registradas, uma possibilidade de desenvolver sua economia que passava por forte desindustrialização, denotando, portanto, um propósito neoliberal (BENDASSOLLI, 2007;GAY;PRYKE, 2002;GARNHAM, 2005). No Brasil, já em 2004, o então ministro Gilberto Gil participou, em São Paulo, da XI Conferência das Nações Unidas sobre Comércio e Desenvolvimento (UNCTAD), onde se deram discussões sobre as chamadas "indústrias criativas".…”
