Enfermeiros dos grandes hospitais públicos no Rio de Janeiro: características sociodemográficas e relacionadas ao trabalho

Abstract: The study aimed at analyzing socio-demographic and working characteristics of nurses from public hospitals. It was carried out a cross-sectional study, involving 3.229 nurses from the eighteen largest public hospitals of the city of Rio de Janeiro. It was observed a feminine predominance (87.3%), with mean age of 39.9 ± 10 years.
