Objective: to understand the use of information and communication technology (ICt) as a pedagogical resource for teaching-learning process in nursing through the discourses of professors, and to identify the types of technology used as a tool to strengthen the teachinglearning process.Method: exploratory descriptive and qualitative study, guided by Grounded theory; the sample consisted of twelve professors of nursing; data collection was conducted between February and May 2013, through the interview technique; the analysis was developed simultaneously with the collection, allowing the formation of categories and subcategories.Results: the nursing faculty expressed the knowledge dimension of ICt experienced in practice, recognizing it as an aid in the theoreticalpractical activities. Conclusion: this technology should be further studied and explored in healthcare and, more specifically, in the training of nurses.

RESUMO: Objetivo: avaliar duas disciplinas na modalidade semipresencial em um curso de graduação em enfermagem. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, transversal, quantitativa. Aplicou-se um instrumento baseado em indicadores acerca de entradas, processo e resultados a 43 alunos do terceiro e sexto períodos que participaram de disciplinas em modalidade semipresencial. Os dados foram apresentados em tabelas com frequências simples e percentuais. Resultados: os indicadores de entradas e resultados foram avaliados como bons. Já os indicadores de processo como suporte técnico prestado, nível de flexibilização da sua aprendizagem em relação ao tempo e ao espaço e a avaliação da aprendizagem desenvolvida na disciplina foram avaliados como regulares. Considerações Finais: os resultados demonstram a necessidade de reorganização das disciplinas. Sugere-se o incentivo e capacitação dos docentes para o uso das novas tecnologias, visto que organiza e inova o processo de ensino-aprendizagem, além do desenvolvimento de pesquisas na área. Descritores: Educação em enfermagem; Educação a distância; Avaliação.ABSTRACT: Aim: to evaluate two hybrid courses in an undergraduate program in nursing. Method: this is a descriptive, transversal, and quantitative research. An instrument based on indicators of inputs, process, and results was applied to 43 undergraduate students of the third and sixth terms who attended hybrid courses. The data were presented in tables with simple frequencies and percentages. Results: the indicators of inputs and results were assessed as good. Yet, the indicators of process, such as technical support provided, level of learning flexibility with respect to time and space, and the assessment of learning developed in the course, were assessed as poor. Final considerations: the results showed the need to reorganize the courses. It is suggested that there is incentive and professional training so that the professors are able to use the new technologies, since that organizes and innovates the teaching-learning process, as well as the development of research in the field.

Resumo: Este estudo teve por objetivo investigar a presença da educação a distância (EAD) nos periódicos científicos brasileiros da área da Psicologia. Foram selecionados artigos presentes nesses periódicos até o ano de 2012. Foram recuperados e analisados na íntegra 21 artigos, a maior parte publicada entre 2009 e 2012. Predominaram investigações da Universidade de Brasília e Universidade de São Paulo. Os periódicos que mais divulgaram pesquisas em EAD foram: Psicologia em Estudo (Maringá), Revista Brasileira de Orientação Profissional, PsicoUSF e Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa. Predominam estudos sobre construção e validação de instrumentos de medida, discussões teóricas e relatos sobre formação profissional. Destaca-se a necessidade de que os periódicos da Psicologia abram cada vez mais espaço para a veiculação de estudos desenvolvidos no contexto da EAD. Palavras-chave:Educação a distância. Abstract:This study aimed to investigate the presence of distance education (EAD, in Portuguese) in Brazilian scientific journals in the Psychology field. It was selected articles of these journals until the year of 2012. It was recovered and analyzed 21 articles, most of them published between 2009 and 2012. The predominant researches were from the Brasília University and São Paulo University. The journals that reported more researches in EAD were: Psicologia em Estudo (Maringá), PsicoUSF, Revista Brasileira de Orientação Profissional and Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa. The predominant studies are about construction and validation of measuring instruments, theoretical discussions and reports on vocational training. The study highlights the need of Psychology journals to open more space for the placement of studies developed in the context of distance education.
