Platibasia: Consideraciones sobre dos observaciones, una de ellas asociada a la malformación de Arnold-Chiari

Abstract: La platibasia (impresión basilar, invanginación basilar) es una deformación del hueso occipital y de la parte alta de la columna cervical. De acuerdo con Ray 1 , el proceso consiste fundamentalmente en el desplazamiento del agujero occipital hacia el interior de la cavidad craneana y en la luxación de las vértebras cervicales superiores hacia arriba y adelante.
