Perfil de mulheres idosas segundo a ocorrência de quedas: estudo de demanda no Núcleo de Atenção ao Idoso da UnATI/UERJ

Abstract: RESUMO A queda é um evento de elevada incidência após os 60 anos, sobretudo entre mulheres, e está associada ao aumento da morbi-mortalidade. O objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar o perfil de mulheres idosas atendidas no Núcleo de Atenção ao Idoso da Universidade Aberta da Terceira Idade/UERJ no ano de 2007, em relação à ocorrência de quedas.
