Objective:evaluate the profile of the graduates of Nursing a public college from the perception of skills developed during graduation and the process of professional insertion.Method:quantitative, exploratory and descriptive study. The sample was composed of 216 graduates. The data was collected by a validated questionnaire and sent to a population of 470 egresses via electronic mail. For the analysis of the data, frequencies, mean and standard deviation were applied and, for the correlation, the chi-square test.Results:the majority of the participants were female (88%) and the mean age was 29.62 years. The majority (65%) had an employment relationship, 14% worked in a single institution and 48% started working six months after graduation. Regarding the form of work, 56% work in care, with an average of 4.5 minimum wages and a weekly workload between 37 and 44 hours. The majority reported competence acquisition to practice the profession, assisting the patient in his integrality with ethics and applying technical and scientific concepts in care.Conclusion:the study made it possible to describe the singularities of nurses’ education, their insertion in the world of work and the impact on the educational institution, as well as the presentation of specific competences from the perspective of the graduates themselves.

Educational activities in the Program for Education through Work for Health

Objective: To describe the educational activities of the Program for Education through Work for Health (PET-Health) developed in family health units of a municipality in the Northeast of Brazil. Method: Qualitative study with 16 preceptors interviewed in the months of March and April 2016. Inclusion criterion was adopted: preceptors who worked in family health units linked to the program, for at least two years. Were excluded workers on vacations, maternity leave or on leave for various reasons. The data were interpreted according with Bardin's content analysis method. Results: It was evidenced that the PET-Health involves users in health education actions in the formation of educational groups, recreational activities and income generation workshops, and permanent education activities for health service workers through training, collective actions and induction of changes in daily work. Conclusion and implications for practice: Educational activities of the PET-Health, according to the reality and needs of health services, is a differential that qualifies the training process of students and workers, while promoting education for the health of users through integrated and intersectoral actions.

Objective: to report the experience of Nursing students at PET-Health with members of the Veterinary Medicine courses from the experience of interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality. Method: this is a descriptive study, the type of experience report. The population was constituted by students and tutors of the Nursing, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine courses, as well as other professionals. Results: it was found that, in practice, students integrated teaching, service and the community, in order to foster interprofessional and interdisciplinary action among those involved. After the experience in all services, it was noted the growth of students regarding the understanding of different relationships between professionals, enriching and encouraging welcoming practices, humanized and permeated by comprehensive care. Conclusion: it was noticed that the participation in the program contributed to the construction of an important vision for the professional formation of the students of each course. Thus, the importance of extension as a fostering medium for experiences of interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality among the students of the three courses, teachers and preceptors is emphasized. RESUMOObjetivo: relatar a experiência de discentes do curso de Enfermagem no PET-Saúde com integrantes dos cursos de Medicina e Medicina Veterinária a partir da vivência da interdisciplinaridade e interprofissionalidade. Método: trata-se de estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência. Constituiu-se a população por discentes e tutores dos cursos de Enfermagem, Medicina e Medicina Veterinária, além de outros profissionais. Resultados: verificou-se que, na prática, os discentes integravam o ensino, serviço e a comunidade, de modo a fomentar a atuação interprofissional e interdisciplinar entre os envolvidos. Notou-se, após a vivência em todos os serviços, o crescimento dos discentes quanto à compreensão das diferentes relações entre os profissionais, enriquecendo e estimulando práticas acolhedoras, humanizadas e permeadas pela integralidade do cuidado. Conclusão: percebeu-se que a participação no programa contribuiu para a construção de uma importante visão para a formação profissional dos discentes de cada curso. Ressalta-se, assim, a importância da extensão como meio fomentador para experiências da interdisciplinaridade e da interprofissionalidade entre os discentes dos três cursos, docentes e preceptores.
