, 28, Санкт-Петербург, 195220 В статье анализируется феномен этнических рынков через оптику специфического контакт-ного языка («базарного пиджина»), возникающего и используемого в процессе коммуникации между торговцами и покупателями. Исследование строится на сравнении специфики «китайских» рынков России и «русского» рынка Ябаолу в Китае. Авторы демонстрируют, что в обоих случаях рынки воспроизводят сходную коммуникативную среду. Показывается, как язык, выполняя коммуника-тивную функцию, маркирует внеэтническую основу «этнического» рынка, определяя его как по-граничное пространство контакта. На основании сравнительного анализа описанных кейсов отме-чается близость «базарного пиджина» к контактному языку российско-китайского пограничья. Авторы приходят к выводу, что язык, фиксируемый в пространстве рынков Иркутска и Пекина, формирует ситуацию, воспроизводящую набор практик, характерный для приграничных контактов, но реализуемых на значительном удалении от реальных межгосударственных границ вне правового и социального контекста пограничья.
