The most important medical and social problem of modern health care are diseases of the circulatory system, the high incidence of which is due to the interaction of a number of factors, among which a certain place is occupied by the living environment. The purpose and objectives of the study - to lead ecological and hygienic assessment of the prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system in the population of Primorsky Krai. Material and methods. Ecological and hygienic assessment of the prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system in the population of Primorsky Krai was carried out for the period 2000-2017, depending on the bioclimatic zone, environmental situation and habitat factors. Characteristics of the habitat were carried out according to 8 sanitary-hygienic and 7 natural-climatic modular factors, based on a 10-point system in accordance with the developed assessment scale. The dependences between environmental factors and the level of circulatory diseases were assessed by regression analysis, and the statistical significance was assessed by Chi - square (Pearson) criterion. Results. During the period 2000-2017 in Primorsky Krai there was an increase in the incidence of diseases of the circulatory system by 38%, and since 2006 they have come to the first place in the structure of morbidity and amounted to 43-49%. Among the diseases of the circulatory system is dominated by hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease. It is established that the prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system in the population is influenced by the following sanitary and hygienic parameters: the level of air pollution, the characteristic of chemical pollution, adverse physical factors, transport loads. The prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system has a strong relationship with a number of climatic parameters: the number of days with the biological activity of solar radiation, latitude, air speed. Discussion. Climatic and ecological factors of the region, social and demographic features can cause deviations of the health status of the population from the all-Russian trends. Conclusion. The dependence of the prevalence of diseases of the circulatory system on the bioclimatic zone, the degree of stress of the environmental situation in the Primorsky territory, as well as environmental factors.
The present study focuses on the comparative assessment of the therapeutic efficacy of the antiviral drugs riamilovir and umifenovir in the treatment of patients diagnosed with influenza. The aim of the study was to compare the clinical efficacy and safety, as well as the incidence of complications, of the use of antiviral drugs riamilovir and umifenovir and the use of only symptomatic therapy in patients with a confirmed diagnosis of influenza. All patients were hospitalized at the Regional Clinical Hospital No. 2 in Vladivostok. The study included 150 patients, who were divided into 3 groups (50 patients in each group), comparable in gender, age, and admission to the hospital. Patients of the first group received riamilovir, the second group received uminofenovir, patients of the third group received only symptomatic therapy (control group). The duration of clinical manifestations of the disease, hematological disorders, as well as the content of cytokines TNF-α and IL-10 in blood serum were assessed. The incidence of complications in each group was taken into account. As a result of the study, it was found that the inclusion of the antiviral drugs riamilovir and umifenovir in the therapy of influenza decreases the amount of the pro-inflammatory cytokine TNF-α after 5 days of treatment; and in case of symptomatic therapy its level significantly exceeded the reference values. The level of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 on the 5th day of treatment in the main group was three times lower than in the control group. Thus, riamilovir and umifenovir effectively relieve the main symptoms of the disease, reduce the incidence of complications, and reduce the severity of the inflammatory response by the 5th day of treatment.
The article considers the measured values of the level of MMP-1, MMP-8 and MMP-9, and of their tissue inhibitor Type I (TIMP-1) in the blood serum and mixed saliva samples of 78 patients (31 women -36.2 %, 47 men -63.8 %) suffering from odontogenic phlegmons in the oral and maxillofacial region. The study indicators were assessed through the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using diagnostic sets R&D Diagnostics Inc. (USA). An uncontrolled hyperactivation of metal proteinases as one of the components of the systemic infl ammatory response in case of phlegmon-related complications in the oral and maxillofacial region, as well as development of the sepsis syndrome were studied and it was determined that it results in distortion of the processes of reparative hystogeny and compel us to employ new approaches to the treatment of this type of patients (Tab. 2, Fig. 1
A study is made of a low-intensity laser radiation technique to treat severe cases of yersiniosis. This technique was tested in 43 children affected by severe cases ofpseudotuberculosis and in 32 children suffering from intestinal yersiniosis. Comparing laser therapy and a conventional treatment revealed that these approaches produced significantly different therapeutic and immunological effects. It was found that low-intensity laser radiation combined with drug therapy resulted in a reduction of intoxication duration, diarrhea, hospitalization time, and drug doses. Moreover. the combined application oflaser radiation and drug preparations enabled an efficient recovery ofthe immune state.
